Visas
Students from EU, Norway, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Switzerland do not require a visa to enter nor to live in Spain. An identity card or passport will be necessary.
Students from USA, Canada, Brazil, Israel, Japan, New Zealand
and Australia do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days
although they do require a visa for longer stays. Once in Spain, they
can apply for an extension of permit at the Police Station. Student
visa applications should be handed in at the Spanish
Embassy or Consulate in your country of origin.
Students coming from other countries usually need a visa and should contact their nearest Spanish Embassy or Consulate for further information.
