abcCollege offers a range of levels from beginner to superior. Students write a level test on the first day of course and are grouped accordingly.
A1-Beginner (4 weeks)
The student has no previous knowledge of Spanish. He/she knows only
a few words or phrases and doesn't understand spoken Spanish.
A2-Elementary (4 weeks)
The student is able to communicate in certain situations, using simple
vocabulary and basic structures.
B1.1-Pre-Intermediate (4 weeks)
The student speaks Spanish using simple vocabulary and basic structures
and understands slow clear spoken Spanish.
B1.2-Intermediate (4 weeks)
The student speaks and understands basic everyday Spanish and can
maintain a simple conversation, but still makes typical mistakes.
The student can take the Instituto Cervantes DELE exam (Nivel Inicial).
B2-Upper Intermediate (8 weeks)
Students can communicate with ease and are able to express themselves
in a wide variety of topics. They have a good gist understanding and
a wide vocabulary. The student can take the Instituto Cervantes DELE
exam (Nivel Intermedio).
C1-Advanced (8 weeks)
The student can communicate very well in everyday situations but wishes
to gain more confidence and fluency in order to communicate more subtly
and understand in greater depth.
C2-Superior (8 weeks)
The student understands fluent native conversation and is able to
communicate with ease using a wide colloquial vocabulary. He/she has
an advanced written level and can take the Instituto Cervantes DELE
exam (Nivel Superior).
