Home > Faq's > Accommodation Accommodation Is it possible not to be placed with students of my own nationality? We do not place students of the same language group in our homestays. Where is your accommodation located? How far would the accommodation be from the school? Our accommodation is located near the school or easily connected by public transport (max. 30 minutes). When do I have to leave my accommodation after the end of the course? Accommodation is booked from the Sunday before the course starts until the Saturday after the course ends. Extra nights bookable at indicated extra night prices. Do I have to inform anyone about my arrival time at my accommodation? What if my flight is delayed? You should phone your accommodation (or the school) well in advance to let them know your arrival time, in order to ensure that there will be somebody at home when you arrive. In case of delay please inform them or call the emergency phone that it is indicated on your accommodation confirmation sheet. Which accommodation option do you recommend? We recommend a homestay in order to get more Spanish oral practice. How are the homestays selected? Through an initial interview and inspection, followed up by a questionnaire completed by our students. Is it laundry included at homestays? Yes, the hostess will do one laundry load per week. Is it possible to use the washing machine at the homestay? No, it is not possible. If you want this facility, you must select a shared flat or student residence. Is it possible to use the phone at homestays? No, it isn’t, but you can receive reasonable phone calls, as long as you are not constantly blocking the homestay phone line. How many people are there in your shared flats? It depends on the flat, but the average is about 3. Are bed linen and towels provided at homestays? Yes. Are bed linen and towels provided at shared flats and residences? Bed linen, blankets and a pillow are provided, but not towels. (There are towels only in the Student Residence Plus). Do your shared flats include a washing machine and kitchen utilities? Yes, both are provided. If I request school accommodation, can I change it if I don’t like it? We believe that you will enjoy your accommodation and won’t be asking for any changes, but we will always move you whenever your motives for changing are reasonable. If I have problems with my accommodation, what should I do? Any problems should be reported to our school secretaries (reception) immediately so that we can solve them. Can I combine two accommodation options during my stay? Yes, this is possible. |
